Arrival Guidelines

Our show starts at sunset and finishes in starlight, and we change the timings of our performances to move with the season.

It takes detailed planning and organisation to provide a smooth arrival for the 8,000 visitors we expect at each performance, and to channel everyone efficiently from the shuttle bus drop off point on our site through security and ticket checks, all the way to their seats. Our guidelines are designed to ensure all our 8,000 visitors can get to their seats in time for the start of the show, should all 8,000 arrive at the same time! It will certainly help minimise road congestion in and around the town, and minimise queues on site, if our visitors stagger their arrival.

Our visitors are requested to be seated 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

Please check the specific start time of your chosen show and follow the relevant arrival guidelines below*:

Arrival Guidelines **
Be at your bus pick up point by (latest) 8.00pm 7.30pm 7.00pm 6.30pm
Be at Ticket/Security check by: 8.45pm 8.15pm 7.45pm 7.15pm
Performance start time: 9.30pm 9.00pm 8.30pm 8.00pm

* These guidelines apply to Car Parks C, E, F and H. For the comfort of visitors with disabilities and low mobility parking in Car Park A (Blue Badge) or D (Low Mobility), special Arrival Guidelines apply. Please check the Accessibility section for more details.

** Should you arrive at your shuttle bus pick up point or at the security/ticket check later than these guidelines, we cannot guarantee you get to your seat on time for the beginning of the performance. If you miss the start of the show, you may be asked to wait until a suitable break before taking your seat.
